Intro I've had a lot of email from people wondering why they missed April's NewsLetter. Well, you didn't! I did! I was on holidays for the last 3 weeks of April. I really didn't miss the computer much! When I got back, family business sent me to Edmonton and Calgary. That, combined with the NHL Playoffs, has kept me pretty busy. But, its back to work as usual. To all of you who noticed the absence of an April NewsLetter, I apologize. For those that didn't notice, "Hey!??". So, What's on the plate today? Well, if you remember, way back in March we talked about a program called SpinRite. A few reader's had the opportunity to try it out. Copies of SpinRite went out to Stephen in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, Sean in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and Tiger in Orlando, Florida. If you missed March's NewsLetter, it can be found in the archives. Tiger and Sean both sent in excellent evaluations, and it sounds like they actually enjoyed the opportunity. The general feeling seems to be that SpinRite is an excellent product. Maybe aimed a little more at the technician and power user (or the geek in training, as Tiger puts it) than the everyday operator who "just wants the darn thing to work". From what I've read of their evaluations however, it sounds like both would recommend SpinRite highly. In fact, based on their evaluations, I think I will be trying the product myself. Unfortunately, after I emailed the unlock codes, I didn't hear back from Stephen at all.
