Links & Resources

As I've said before, you're not going to learn everything from a single resource. That's why I believe that one of the best things I can offer on this site are links to other computer related websites. I'm just beginning to contact other sites for permission to link to their pages (and, hopefully, establish reciprocal links).

From here, I hope to be able to direct you to more advanced technical information, forums, support, drivers, related news, manufacturer's websites, online hardware and software retailers, virus information and other computer related resources.

As the numbers increase, and I promise they will, I'll do my best to categorize them. That could prove to be a difficult task, as so many websites contain such a varied amount of information.

I think you should visit them all!

Current news and reviews in the tech world, as well as other 'how tos' and Tips&Tricks. How to buy a computer, how to build a computer, and many other interesting articles and reviews. Worth a visit!*

Small Biz Tech Talk (Computer Consulting 101)
If you want to start your own Computer Consulting business, check this site out. Featured products include "The Computer Consulting Startup Kit" (for new computer consultants) and "The Computer Consulting 101 Professional Kit" (for experienced computer consultants).

PC Guide
There's probably about 4 or 5 websites that you'll find links to, from just about all of the Computer Hardware sites you visit. This is one of them! It's a very informative, and comprehensive hardware resource.

Excellent resource on building your own PC or network. Reviews and commentaries on the latest equipment and great tech forums with a vast amount of information. *

The free technical support website for all computer users. Columns and reviews on all kinds of computer topics, written by the staff, and by users just like you.

An excellent index and source for computer information, links to manufacturers, hardware, software, tutorials, and Windows troubleshooting. *

One huge index and directory of computer information!!
Links to hardware and software companies, industry organizations and user groups, technology information sources, online support and up-to-date news. Aimed at the business end of computing. *

Tom's Hardware
Another one of those "must see" places you'll find listed from just about every hardware site you'll visit. Tom's hardware guides will increase your technical knowledge and help you with your purchasing decisions. You'll also find columns, reviews and the latest tech news.

PC Technicians Canada
Free online tutorials on setting up workgroup network's, virtual private networks, NAT, ICS and much more. Their troubleshooting guides will give you step by step instructions on fixing network related problems. Links to a lot of downloads and computer related websites.

UncaMilty.com
Hardware reviews covering motherboards, CPUs and video cards. UncaMilty buys it and tries it, then speaks his mind. He also offers his insights and commentary on different stories in the computing industry, with links to the referenced news article. Check out Milty's Musings in the 'Articles' section. *
